Hello and welcome to all Malaysian pageant fans, and to our international readers, we would like to wish all of you, "Selamat Datang"!

Miss Malaysia Pageant (MMP) is a Malaysian based pageant blog, which were founded on 2011 at our social media site (http://www.facebook.com/missmalaysiapageant). Since then, our local and international audience grew exponentially, and we have decided to branch out into bigger and better web-based platform.

We will be updating most of our content in here, as well as our social media site. Since MMP is still growing, we are in the midst of getting our own domain as well as media channel to give our audience a better immersive pageant experience, both local and international.

PAGEANT PROFILE: Nigelvan Daniel Andrew - Mister National Universe Malaysia 2017

Nigelvan Daniel Andrew is the 1st Runner Up of  Bachelor of Malaysia  2017, held at Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia. This 22 years old Degree student is from the state of Sabah, Malaysia, and he is from the Kadazan-Dusun ethnic group, which is one of the diverse ethnic group in Malaysian Borneo. He is a fresh face that is going to represent Malaysia in the first ever Mister National Universe at Thailand!    His journey in the male pageantry world started from Mister  Sabah Model of The Year  (SMOTY) 2015, where he emerged as the 1st Runner Up in the competition. Goosebumps! In SMOTY 2015, Nigelvan became the 1st Runner up while Jason Ganesan (MUA Malaysia 2016 / Top 10 MUA 2016) became the champion. MNU 2017: VANA NAVA Photoshoot

Time to get wet!  The contestant of Mister National Universe 2017 were having lot's of splashy fun at V ana Nava Hua Hin Water Park  while getting their getting pictures taken. MNU 2017: Send-Off @ Sibu Airport & KLIA2

Welcome to Thailand, Team Malaysia! First day of a pageant week usually starts off with the arrival of contestant, either by their own or accompanied with their #GlamTeam .  MMP did a send-off for our MNU Malaysia, Nigelvan Daniel Andrew. He was accompanied by his National Director, Mr.Haikal Ezrie. We are in love with his bold choice of outfit as it shows the diversity of Malaysian textile design. Check out the images below:  We absolutely adore the outfit that Nigelvan wore during both sent-offs. It is made by designer from the Malaysian Borneo state; Paul Carling from Sarawak, and Bobby Brian from Sabah.  Kudos to the styling team for this great effort! Hopefully more Malaysian designer will come out with outstanding design for #TeamMalaysia . As the saying goes, competition starts from Day 1, so it is utmost important to look your best all the time. Malayzing!
